In addition to offering takeout and outdoor seating, we are now also offering curbside pickup! We are also keeping up to date with the Center for Disease Control’s most recent guidelines for bars and restaurants. Some of these include:
We require the use of cloth face coverings among all staff, as feasible. Information has been provided to staff on proper use, removal, and washing of cloth face coverings. We wear cloth face coverings to protect other people in case our staff are unknowingly infected and asymptomatic.
We require employees to stay home if they feel unwell, or if they have been in contact with someone who has felt unwell. Our employees are aware of our policies and know that they can choose to stay at home without fear of reprisal.
We require frequent and thorough employee handwashing before, during, and after preparing food, or coming in contact with food waste. Employees also wash hands after removing gloves.
We clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces (e.g., door handles, cash registers, workstations, sink handles, bathroom stalls) at least daily, or as much as possible and as required by food safety requirements. We also clean shared objects (e.g., payment terminals, tables, countertops/bars, receipt trays, condiment holders) between each use.
Where possible we have reduced reusable or sharable items such as menus, condiments, and any other food containers. These have been replaced with disposable versions. This also includes disposable napkins, utensils, and dishes.
We clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as pens, counters, or hard surfaces between use and encourage patrons to use their own pens. We also ask that customers not bring in their own beverage containers.
La Rosa Market and Taqueria has arranged its layout to ensure that all customer parties remain at least 6 feet apart (e.g., marking tables/stools that are not for use). We limit indoor seating capacity to allow for social distancing. Physical guides, such as tape on floors or sidewalks and signage, ensure that individuals remain at least 6 feet apart.
You can read more on the CDC guidelines here. At La Rosa Market and Taqueria we care about our employees, our customers, and our community, and we are doing everything we can to continue serving that community while keeping it safe.
We ask our customers to contribute by wearing face coverings inside our store.
